M. Lemaître. Oeuvres of cinema

The Oeuvres of cinema (1951-2007) assembles the ensemble of directions, projection instructions and screenplays of M. Lemaître's films. The panoramic view over more than a half century of Lemaître's creation lets understand at once the plastic force and the theoretical and political consistency. It also well and truly shows the existence of a Lemaître "style". Incomparable, it makes him one of the major filmmakers in the history of avant-garde cinema and, briefly, of the XXth century's cinema.
