Atoosa Pour Hosseini (born. 1981) is an Iranian-Irish filmmaker and visual artist based in Dublin, Ireland. Her works are influenced by historical avant-garde cinema and explore questions about illusion, reality, and perception through the media of film, performance and installation. She is a co. Director of Experimental Film Society. Pour Hosseini’s work has shown at several cinemas, galleries, museums, festivals, around the world, including Irish Museum of Modern Art; Irish Film Institute; Temple Bar Gallery, Dublin; Jeu de Paume, Paris; Museum of the Moving Image, New York; Kino Moviemento, Berlin; LUFF festival, Switzerland; Museum of Contemporary Art, Tehran. Her work forms part of the national and the International Institutes collection as well as private collections. In 2024 she was awarded residency at Cité Internationale des Arts and the Institut Français.
