Miss Deren, Pidello Alejandro

For someone interested in the practice surrounding the creation of the cinepoem – considered as a synthesis of the encounters between poetic language (oral, written, or both, alternating or not) and a sequence of images – the works that form the basis of this project (Deren, Tarkovsky, Metz, and others) present very useful systemic visions.

In my case, the interest and selection of hierarchized ideas, which are eventually more or less developed, clearly aimed to ensure the acquisition or complementing of concepts and procedures that could constitute a possible key to unlocking the mind. A key that blends concepts and percepts and could emerge naturally in the presence of the cinepoem as a completed fact. And I say completed fact thinking of both the creator and the spectator.
