Revue Les Saisons N°2

For this n ° 2 of the magazine Les Saisons, we wondered what is written inside the cinema and how we could share a reading of these writings. These interior writings recount the imaginary and reserved place of the filmmakers, writings as a passage from the intimate, from fictional space, from a thought of the film that takes shape through words.
 
This n ° 2 carries the desire to preserve these writings - The Impulse to Preserve, echo of Robert Gardner who, with "Fixing Time", extracted from this collection, opened the first number of the review. "Preserving" these writings means publishing the writings of filmmakers we love, working on translating texts that do not yet exist in French, continuing to make them live in time and tracing a memory of the present of cinema.

In this n ° 2, we descend as much in the "cinema cellar" as in practices in the making, from MARGARET TAIT to MAURICIO FREYRE alongside TACITA DEAN - DEBORAH STRATMAN - LAV DIAZ - JOÃO MARIA GUSMÃO AND PEDRO PAIVA
