Description
Paul Winkler (born June 22, 1939) is an Australian filmmaker of German origin who lives and works in Sydney. He was associated with Corinne and Arthur Cantrill, Albie Thoms and David Perry in the pioneering local experimental production of the 1960s.
Winkler characterizes his films as "a synthesis of intellect and emotion, filtered through the plastic material of film": "I try to let the images emerge freely to the surface."
