This work is a reinterpretation of anonymous amateur super 8 film evoking moments of happiness and exceptional interludes in their singularity (vacations, weddings, births, etc.) where family unity is summoned and the repetition of daily life is necessarily absent. These images take on the appearance of collective memories, whether experienced, imagined, desired, or heard recounted. They provoke the possibility of sublimating our own story through the detour of others' stories.
Through different treatments of the image: Laurence Faure's black and white and Valérie Villieu's color, two possible interpretations are given to see.
