Schickeria – A television documentary about Super 8
The wild years in Munich: from 1965 to 1985. It was also the golden age of Super 8. Many German celebrities remember it, including Iris Berben and Thomas Gottschalk. A large portion of this four-episode series, which will be broadcast on Amazon Prime in mid-August, was shot on Super 8, particularly the storylines featuring young actors playing Berben and Gottschalk. The Berlin-based analog photography and film specialty shop click & surr had the great pleasure of overseeing the shoot by providing advice, cameras, Super 8 film, and scans.
Lukas Fritz and his Filmomat
Since 2007, while still a teenager, Lukas Fritz has been tinkering with automatic processing systems for film and photos. His Filmomat is finally available for Super 8 and 16mm formats. We spoke with the inventor, now a doctor of chemistry, about his unique product that fills a gap in the market.

All Eumig models gathered in one exhibition
They finally did it! It took a long time for the Eumig museum in Wiener Neudorf to gather all the camera models ever made by the Austrian company. They are now assembled and form the basis of a fabulous exhibition. Jürgen Lossau attended the opening and presents pieces dating from 1932 to 1981.

You can mix so many things: beer, Caffenol, willow bark, grass, cinnamon, chili pepper, or cocoa. Two weeks were devoted to shooting, developing, editing, and projecting. Logmar's hasty march into the world of cameras

Then Tommy Madsen, the company's CEO, announced that it would ultimately not be produced. How did it come to this? And why were the previously presented cameras only marketed for a short period?
They're already rehearsing! 100 Japanese dancers at click & surr
Five years already for click & surr! The Berlin shop specializing in analog photography and video is celebrating its anniversary. And invites you to a grand installation: 100 twirling Japanese dancers will be projected on 50 Super 8 projectors. The event will take place in mid-October. In Super 8 magazine, you can already see images from the films that company owner Jürgen Lossau unearthed on Single 8 films from the 1970s.
