Description
Many Super 8 camera owners face the problem of not being able to obtain two 1.35 V button cell batteries, necessary to power the light meter with a total voltage of 2.7 V. The original PX625 mercury button cell batteries are no longer manufactured, mainly for environmental reasons. They provided a voltage of 1.35 V. Today, PX625 batteries deliver 1.5 V and still allow Super 8 camera users to shoot in automatic exposure mode, albeit with slight variations in light meter readings. These minor differences do not significantly affect automatic exposure results.
We offer these batteries as one of the few readily available alternatives for those who wish to use a camera requiring button cell batteries.
