Description
"In my editing room, there is a shelf full of film cans dating back to the 1950s. It's material related to my work, from 1950 until today, but which never found its place in my films. In cinema language, these are out-takes, cut scenes. And they are all slowly fading away. Some have already disappeared. On the occasion of my exhibition at the Serpentine, I decided it was time to gather all this material into what will be my last film on celluloid. The result is what you are about to see. Many images of my family life, my friends, the city, nature, my travels to Lithuania. All assembled in my usual haphazard order."
