Description
For anyone interested in the practice of creating cinepoems—understood as a synthesis of encounters between poetic language (oral, written, or both, alternating or not) and a sequence of images—the works that underpin this study (Deren, Tarkovski, Metz, and others) offer highly useful systemic visions.
In my case, the interest and selection of prioritized ideas, which may be more or less developed, clearly aimed to ensure the acquisition or complementation of concepts and processes that can constitute a possible key to opening the mind. A key that combines concepts and perceptions and that can emerge naturally in the presence of the cinepoem as a fait accompli. And I speak of fait accompli thinking of both the creator and the viewer.
