Description
A selection of eight videos that Mounir Fatmi made between 1998 and 2008. Political, provocative, spiritual or poetic, his complex works reveal the ambiguities, doubts, fears and desires he experiences in the face of world events. Through a playful formal language freely inspired by the motifs of Islamic art, writings from the Koran, but also European authors like Artaud or Montesquieu, his videos open new perspectives by blurring the notions of here and elsewhere.
