Description
Mono no aware is part of the "Human Frames" art film collection, which explores various psychological states such as happiness, desire, madness, fanaticism, fear, anger, isolation, melancholy, and impermanence. This volume presents ten contemporary works from Asia and Europe that evoke the Japanese concept of Mono no aware—"the poignant beauty of things"—and offer a reflection on transience and the melancholic beauty it holds.
