Description
A feature film inspired by the Cantat–Trintignant tragedy, in which actress Marie Trintignant died of a cerebral oedema three days after being beaten by the frontman of the rock band Noir Désir.
"From the story of a passion lived to its extreme — to the point of death — I want to make a film that is sober, bare, stripped down. From the tragedy that inspired me, I essentially sought to retain a universal and familiar dimension. The film's sole character will be, at once, the one who writes the story, the one who lives it from the depths of his prison, and the actor who performs it as if for a single witness and spectator: himself." — Marcel Hanoun
