Risk is undoubtedly the smallest common denominator of the practices to which the editorial platform A bras le corps is dedicated. The smallest, meaning also the most widespread. Any creation whatsoever that would take no risk, expose itself to no peril—the first being that of its own failure—would immediately cancel itself out. Risk is the very fact that in artistic practice there is research, that is to say both an uncertainty and a chance, that of producing forms that advance into unknown territory, allowing us to explore it with them. And this is priceless. This is the very meaning of the film project Pierre Moignard is currently working on, whose evocative title—Les chercheurs d'art à Mexico—holds together the dimensions of research and creation that are at the heart of this issue, and of our editorial project as a whole.
