Description
"Mes sept lieux begins at the moment when I am evicted from several places dear to me. Places that serve me equally as dwellings, living spaces, and workplaces. It is the beginning of my urban wandering that will take me on a ten-year journey of three hundred thousand kilometers before returning very close to my starting point. A physical as much as metaphysical adventure. Fragments of documentary films, intimate diary, bedside notes, bits of fiction, 'Mes sept lieux' is an essay on the passage of time, embellished with a jumble of light and serious reflections, ultimately an attempt simply to exist. Fourth episode of my autobiographical fiction, Babel, begun in 1983."
