Description
Landscape of Moving Images documents the work of artists and the history of independent film in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. Covering a range of subjects from individual artistic practices to the institutional history of artist-run centres and queer film festivals, this publication brings together some of the perspectives and stories that shape Prairie media arts. This text aims to archive and expand the discussion on how environments and moving images mutually shape one another across the diverse landscapes of the Canadian Prairies, as these histories typically exist ephemerally and are rarely approached from a critical perspective.
