Music composed, produced & recorded in Paris (France) by Laurent Saïet, 2006-2008
Mixing and additional electronic parts: Patrick Müller, February 2009
Composer Laurent Saïet, fascinated by Chris Marker's work on memory and time, decides to find a musical equivalent and then invites video artists Sylvain Bélot, Gilbert Carsoux and Pascal Frament to each work, based on his music, on an experimental film inspired more particularly by Marker's most famous film: La jetée (1962).
In this project, where the music pre-exists the images, he also collaborates with Patrick Müller who mixed the music and created its spatial arrangement in 5.1 for the first presentations of this project in 2008-2009 (Instants Chavirés, Montreuil; Cinéma "La clef", Paris).
