"During the first screening of Horizons in London, I watched it with open and illuminated eyes, and I found it very beautiful. Later, I listened to Gottheim talk about the film. I discovered the complex network of correspondences and visual rhymes in the film. During my second and third viewings, I paid close attention to seeing and understanding the correspondences and rhymes. But I found the film just as beautiful, if not more so. The fourth viewing was once again a viewing without any particular intention, eyes wide open. At the Cooper Union screening, I suddenly discovered the incredible richness of the colors. I sat near the screen and saw these dazzling colors, and I was amazed that I could watch Horizons four times without noticing the splendor of its colors."
