Description
SPECIAL EDITION BILL MORRISON:
A Poetic Archaeology of Cinema: The Films of Bill Morrison, by Matthew Levine.
The films of Bill Morrison often combine archival footage with contemporary music pieces composed by internationally recognized composers. His masterpiece 'Decasia' (67 min, 2002), a collaboration with composer Michael Gordon, was selected for the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress of the United States, becoming the most modern film named to be part of the list that preserves works of "great cultural, historical or aesthetic importance to the national cinematic heritage".
