Format Double8
ASA 400
Length 10m
Description
2 x 8 mm film, perforated on both sides (standard Double 8 mm perforation)
FOMA Cine ORTHO is a unique type of film with high optical sensitivity and a variable ISO exposure setting range from 160 to 800.
Thanks to its high sensitivity, it is easy to shoot even in difficult lighting conditions and to use various conversion, effect or other camera filters.
The resulting "ORTHO" effect is particularly suited to artistically stylized and experimental cinema, for example for expressive portrait imagery.
The increased sensitivity in the green part of the light spectrum allows for more "plastic" shooting of landscapes and settings.
Compared to reversal films, the development of FOMA Cine ORTHO negative film is considerably simpler (developer - stop bath - fixer - water), using common types of developers (Foma, Ilford, Kodak, Tetenal, etc.).
Thanks to its lower spectral sensitivity, undeveloped film can be briefly handled under safelight, preferably orange or red in color (585 nm and above).
This film is suitable for digital scanning and subsequent cinematographic projection using a digital projector.
FOMA Cine ORTHO is produced with a nominal sensitivity of 400 ISO and is available in the following formats:
16 mm perforated on one edge or perforated on both edges, 30.5 m spools
16 mm type 2 x 8 mm, 10 m spools
