Fin de tournage is the title of a film directed by Maurice Lemaître between 1985 and 1990.
It is composed of a series of slides, mainly taken from Nouvelle Vague films, shot on an animation stand, on which the artist intervened in various forms: retouching, staining, graphic and plastic interventions.
In parallel, the film's soundtrack consists of an interview in which the artist accounts for his relationship to cinema, criticism, and creation in a manner that is both serious and humorous.
