"We begin a portrait of Dutch filmmaker Jaap Pieters. He recalls the memory of a missing Lebanese friend, and his desire to go shoot in his footsteps. This project aligns with our desire to better understand the reality of Lebanese cinema. We propose to Jaap Pieters to travel together to find and discover filmmakers in Lebanon who are researching the image. We meet Mahmoud Hojeij, Nadim Tabet, Ghassan Salhab, Nesrine Khodr, Lamia Joreige."
