Description
This DVD brings together Devaux and Armager's first documentaries on experimental filmmakers.
Frédérique Devaux and Michel Amarger have been making experimental films and documentaries since 1980. Frédérique Devaux is a film critic and teacher. Michel Amarger is a journalist specializing in cinema at RFI.
"The vitality of contemporary experimental cinema led us to meet and film, since early 2000, filmmakers, distributors, and organizers particularly active in this art. This gave birth to a series of autonomous portraits, composing a significant ensemble of the plurality of approaches and practices in experimental cinema. We produce it independently, as an introduction or complement to the work of artists, technicians, and distributors who participate in the life of contemporary research cinema."
— Frédérique Devaux, Michel Amarger
