Description
This battery is 3D-printed from resin and is equipped with LiPo batteries with a capacity of 1,200 mAh. It provides enough power to shoot about thirty Super 8 reels. It charges in 3 hours using a standard phone charger with a USB-C port. There’s no need to remove it from the camera to charge it. A red indicator light is visible during charging; it turns blue when the battery is fully charged.
Tips:
When it is not installed on the camera—and even though it is equipped with an electronic circuit breaker—you should avoid short circuits between the tracks. It can be charged with a fast charger in 1 hour (depending on the discharge level, the type of battery, and the USB-C cable used), but of course, like any standard LiPo battery, this can affect its lifespan. The number of shots taken varies depending on the camera’s power consumption. Tests conducted at a current draw of 500 mA yielded a runtime of 140 minutes.
