Description
Robert Haller, photographer and director of Anthology Film Archives in New York, presents a book of his photographs, a project spanning the last 30 years, based on his research. The book presents the parallel narrative of two often contrasting themes: nudity and landscape. The human body as a marker of the passage of time converses with the megaliths of Stanton Drew in England, a cultural monument standing as witness to a distant past. Both organic forms indicate human presence. Robert Haller manipulates the human body as a living monument and approaches both subjects as sites of concentration for projections of our inner world, our desires and our memories.
