Canon's flagship Super 8 model from 1978. As Super 8 cameras became increasingly computerized, this was the world's first to use a single-chip processor. Its lens, developed with a wider angle, achieves very high performance relative to its compact format. Featuring the world's first superimposition viewfinder, this model also offers multiple innovative functions such as automatic dissolve and interval shooting. The SPC (Silicon Photo Cell) metering system combined with a five-blade aperture produces very precise exposures and pleasing out-of-focus rendering. In short, this model can be considered the pinnacle of Canon Super 8 cameras.
