Beaulieu 6008 Pro
Derived from the Beaulieu 6008 S, the Beaulieu 6008 Pro is a sound Super 8 camera with additional features designed for professional use. It appeared in 1981 and was produced alongside the 6008 until 1983.
Frame rates range from 4 to 80 frames per second, with single-frame shooting and a reverse function allowing dissolves over 90 frames.
The original zoom lens options are either a Beaulieu f/1.4 6.9–55mm, a Schneider f/1.4 6–70mm or an Angenieux f/1.4 6–90mm (€10/day). The variable-speed electric zoom, ranging from 3 to 10 seconds end to end, can also be operated manually.
The shutter has a variable angle and the intervalometer offers intervals of 1, 10 or 30 seconds.
The optional quartz control at 24 or 25 fps allows sync for video transfer, though this feature is largely obsolete today.
