This Cahier brings together the main writings, texts and interviews of Jean Cocteau on Le Sang d'un Poète. Cocteau constantly evokes in these inspired texts the "descent into oneself" that constituted this unique film in his filmography, the only film for which he confesses to have been "totally free", thus bringing it as an example for future generations. It also includes a text and 6 previously unpublished photographs of the making of the film by Sacha Masour. Accompanied by two texts written especially for the occasion by Dominique Noguez, writer and Alain Virmaux, historian of cinema.
