Cinema of the body

The six films that make up Cinema Of The Body are "Element", "Tides", "MUSEic Of The BODy", "Light Of The Body", "Wildfire" and "Videotape For Woman And A Man". They delve to our primal experience through the dynamic motion of the human body in “a new nakedness no longer at war with spirituality and intelligence.” (Isadora Duncan). The films include the celebrated "Element" and "Tides". Newly re-mastered on high definition, with Academy-Award-winner Hilary Harris on camera, we viscerally experience the force of female energy – the woman, Greenfield herself, heroically struggling in earth in "Element" and triumphantly rising from the ocean in "Tides". The DVD ends with the 32 minute "Videotape For A Woman And A Man", which balances on the line between performance and a real relationship.
