Dans ce lieu d’avant-garde, désigné centre de réadaptation sociale et culturelle, Boris Lehman y crée un groupe de réalisation de films, le premier du genre. En dix-huit ans, une centaine de films auront été réalisés, individuellement ou collectivement : documentaires, fictions et films expérimentaux. Ce ne sont pas des films thérapeutiques, ce sont plutôt des expériences d’art brut.
